St George Marathon 2011-We were there!

So proud of Katie! Had the chance to run her 1st marathon with her last weekend. Character shines when things don't go according to plan. She fought hard for her finish :) You did it Katie! We were there :)

Lily Lu turns 2

The morning started with a little cake batter licking and some reading with Hailey :) She is the Birthday girl after all. It is hard to believe that 2 years have already passed!! Lily is a light in our home and her siblings adore her.

4th of July parade

When we are in town it is tradition to decorate our bikes and do the parade. This morning I ran the Sauvie Island 1/2 marathon and then met them at the parade. I made it to walk in the parade with them, although walking was labored. I ran hard and PR'd :) We of course participated in activities in the park including the dunk tank. We rounded out the day with the fireworks in Oak Hills.

Early Summer

Chris and Robyn were here for the month of June, unfortunately we did not have the greatest weather. We still did a little day trip to the beach. It was cold and windy but the kids still had fun.

Dancing Queen

Hailey's dance recital at the end of June. This recital is always very impressive! This year she took tap and loved it, although she has informed me that she wants to do Jazz next year :)
